Our Journey

Growing up in a Nigerian-American household, I was immersed in the vibrant tapestry of west African culture. Our home décor was a reflection of my family and friends travels and experiences in their home county. From colorful pillows, blankets, seat cushions, and countless other items, my childhood home created a welcoming and stunning visual representation of the blend between African and American home décor.

As I started my own family, I yearned to recreate the cozy, inviting atmosphere of my childhood home. My friends and I found ourselves searching for vibrant, dynamic African-inspired décor that went beyond the typical neutral tones. Beyond family keepsakes, we struggled to find African inspired items that captured the continent's diverse and dynamic beauty.
